At the same time, facilitating electric vehicle uptake and supporting green hydrogen production can boost renewable energy consumption manifold while diversifying the economy. Sectoral policies on rooftop solar, self-consumption, open access must acquire more clarity and coordination. International cooperation and global best practices can aid capacity building vital for India's ambitious renewable objectives. With the right framework conditions and strategies, the country's transition to a low-carbon future powered by its infinite renewable energy resources is eminently achievable.
